How It All Started

My love for recipes started long before Life With Nadia came to be. I still remember baking my first batch of cinnamon rolls with my grandmother, flour dusting the air and laughter filling the kitchen. That moment sparked a lifelong curiosity for flavors, textures, and the magic that happens when simple ingredients come together. Over the years, every birthday cake, Sunday brunch, and midnight snack only deepened my fascination with food.

What I love most about cooking is its power to transform an ordinary day into something extraordinary. Whether I’m perfecting a classic dish or inventing something entirely new, I’m always inspired by the joy of sharing a meal. That’s what inspired me to start Life With Nadia—to create a space where I could document my adventures, celebrate the triumphs (and the flops!), and invite you to cook along with me.

With over 12 years of hands-on experience in home and professional kitchens, I’ve cooked my way through countless cookbooks, classes, and family gatherings. My background spans personal recipe development, freelance food writing, and formal culinary training at the Artisan Kitchen Academy. I’m deeply committed to quality—every recipe you see on Life With Nadia has been tested (and tasted!) in my own kitchen, sometimes multiple times, to make sure it works in yours. From sourcing fresh ingredients to carefully measuring and timing each step, my process is all about attention to detail and a genuine love for food.

Photography is another passion of mine; every image on this blog is styled and shot by me, capturing the beauty and texture of each dish. I believe the visual experience is just as important as the flavors, helping you feel confident before you even pick up a whisk.

With a background in both professional kitchens and food writing, my mission is to make home cooking fun, accessible, and inspiring. I love inventing new twists on classics and finding joy in the little moments around the table. When I’m not cooking, you’ll find me exploring new hiking trails or reading the latest food memoirs.

Jessica brings every dish to life with her keen eye for detail and love for vibrant, mouthwatering photography. With over 8 years’ experience in food styling, she knows exactly how to make each recipe shine. Her creative flair ensures our recipes always look as delicious as they taste. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys gardening and hosting themed dinner parties with friends.
